Pasi Uotila advanced to the final by defeating Dennis Eklund 184-168. Uotila took an early lead, when Eklund missed the spare in the first frame.

Then the two played almost the same frame to frame, they both even made a 7-10 split in the fifth frame. Uotila made the crucial difference with two lazy strikes in seventh and eighth frame. When Eklund finished the game with no consecutive strikes, Uotila was a winner already before his tenth frame.
