Brunswick Ballmaster Open manager Kimmo Lehtonen is on the top again. Last year he was not able to bowl in tournament, today he scored 1405 on his third try during this year. None of his game was bad.

Even Lehtonen was the best; he was not the evening star in Tali. The star was Maria Koshel (8) from Russia.

- It felt really comfortable to bowl. I have good spirit on the lanes now. It’s important to get good score for to have power to continue and practise, Kimmo Lehtonen who is going to USA end of month, said. He is going to play High Roller and PBA Major U.S. BC Masters.

- The weekend was really funny and nice. Yesterday I bowled together with youth players and now I had chance to see that small girl playing here. She was really playing well and also she new how to behave on the lanes in tournament, Kimmo mentoined. One key for high score was a new ball, which Kimmo made between squads today.

- I have spent so long period with out bowling, so it’s important to get all right equipments in lanecondition now. Some moments I tried a little bit too much. But it was one very short moment, he ended.

As said, the bright star in Tali’s evening was only eight years old Maria Koshel. She is on the way to bowling training camp to Kuortane sport center together with 12 other Russian young players. On they way they took part to Ballmaster Open. With 120 centimetres and 26 kilos Maria is looking very weak, but she is NOT. The small lefty is looking like an “old star” on the lanes.

- I have bowled now two years. Here I was first a little bit scared and excited, but then I really enjoyed to bowl here. Everybody was so nice and friendly to me and I got lots of applauses always when I made a spare or a strike. It was feeling fun, Maria told.

- First my parents did not let me play here, but I was so strict that they have to, Maria continued. Also her older sister was taking part to Ballmaster Open. In Tali Maria bowled very camly, but at home she can show also something else.
- Some times she can be really crazy on the lanes home in Moscow, Sergey Andreev teased her.

- But I enjoyed so much here, so it was easy to behave well, Maria smiled.
- I wish that I will be a big star some day, but I know that it’s gonna be a long road for that still, she said and exposed shyly that her favourite is Jason Belmonte.
