Pasi Uotila was the best bowler in Brunswick Ballmaster Open qualification squad on Tuesday morning. With the high score 1378 he signed up on the second place on result list. The lead is still in Kimmo Lehtonen’s hands with the score 1405.

Pasi Uotila had two weapons over the others for to bowl this score; right choices with bowling balls and clean game with out simple open frames.
- I believe that this is enough to the top eight (direct to the third round in finals), 90 percent surely. There have been now five squads and lot of good Finnish players has already been on the lanes. End of the week there will be many good international players, but at the same time more players who are “walking they own roads”. I am sure this will be enough, but I can not influence for it, Pasi thought. 

- If I am really honest, it’s lousy. It means a lot who is playing ahead of you. Until now almost every one has made one bad game during six games, it happened also to me on Sunday, when I had one pair of lane where the ball did not hook at all. In this squad the changes were very logical, Uotila said.

He has a good season behind him until now.
- I have bowled quite well. The World Championships were not good at all for me, but it happens. After Qatar I had three weeks almost totally break and I can feel it now. If the game is not in your hands well, you must think about too many minor things, Pasi described.

This days bowling ball are playing quite a big role in bowling. But of course the bowlers must have knowledge how and what balls they are using. Pasi Uotila told that he made two new ball yesterday and used them in this squad.

- I bowled the left lane with the other ball and right lane with the other, and it worked excellent, he smiled contentedly.
